Launching a new webinar series on High-Temperature Heat Pumps in industry!

We are pleased to announce a brand-new series of deep dive webinars under the umbrella of the IEA HPT TCP Project 68 and the HTHP Symposium.

To accelerate the decarbonization of industrial processes, we will host 3-4 online sessions per year, focusing on practical implementation, technological advancement, and integration challenges of high-temperature heat pumps in industry.

Connecting industrial end-users and heat pump suppliers
This webinar series is specifically tailored to bridge the gap between industrial end-users seeking to decarbonize their heat supply and heat pump suppliers/manufacturers offering cutting-edge solutions. By bringing these two key groups together alongside researchers, the sessions aim to foster dialogue, share real-world case studies, and address concrete barriers to industrial implementation.

The webinars are hosted by Danish Technological Institute (DTI) as project manager of project 68, and several webinars will be co-hosted with key industry networks and international partners.

  • HTHPs and the bio-/pharma industry (17 September 2026)
  • Industrial steam: Steam-generating heat pumps and steam compression (2 December 2026)
  • Q1 2027: HTHPs for drying applications
  • Q2 2027: HTHPs and the textile industry
  • Q3 2027: HTHPs integration in novel applications
  • Q4 2027: Leverage thermal storage with HTHPs
  • Q1 2028: Very large HTHPs
  • Q2 2028: HTHPs above 160 °C: Market status and technology outlook.
