Five years ago, high-temperature heat pumps (HTHPs) were an underappreciated but crucial technology for decarbonizing industries. This was the motivation behind launching the IEA HPT Project 58.
In Project 58, our team built a comprehensive overview of the state of the art and perspectives for HTHPs — to shine a spotlight on their enormous potential for decarbonizing industrial. However, considering the fast pace of innovation in HTHP it is obvious that the review needs an update!
New, updated overview of high-temperature heat pumps!
This database have been extended comprehensively in Project 68 with the newest trends and can be found here.
The database now contain detailed descriptions of:
⚙️ 55 commercially available (or close-to-market) supplier technologies
🏭 40 demonstration cases being built or already in operation
📖 You will also find analysis about the trends in heat pump developments and what we foresee for the comming years in the report!
