Working Fluids and Transport Phenomena in Advanced Absorption Heat Pumps (Vol. 2 – Part 1)
The aim of the project is to investigate the feasibility of using solid-absorption heat pumps and heat transformers for upgrading industrial waste heat to temperatures at which it can be used for process purposes. In particular systems utilizing ammonia as the working substance and metal halides as adsorbents seem to offer promising prospects.
