Single-Room Heat Pumps for Cold Climates

The use of single-room heat pumps is growing world-wide, not only in mild and warm climate zones. The majority of these units are air-to-air split-type products. Ground-coupled and water-sink single-room units are also applied in some countries, for instance Sweden. This report provides an overview of the performance of single-room heat pumps on the market for use in cold climates and focuses on the lates efficiency improvements.
