Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling, Reclamation and Disposal – an International Assessment Part 2

How effective are refrigerant conservation policies, practices and national plans in industrialised countries and what are their environmental benefits? How do countries organise their refrigerant management program and what is the impact? Answers to these and other related questions are given in this report and it comes as no suprise that approaches with regard to policies, regulations and practices vary widely between countries. This report is part 2 of a two-tier international state-of-the-art assessment. Other than part 1, part 2 also covers refrigerant disposal. The following countries are included: Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, and the USA. The report provides useful information for policy makers in governments, regulatory organisations, business executives and their technical staff advisers.
