HPT TCP National Experts Meeting

The Heat Pump Centre is pleased to invite national experts, researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and other stakeholders to the upcoming HPT TCP National Experts Meeting, which will be held online on 27 October, 13:00–16:00 CEST. 

This meeting will provide an opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss emerging priorities in heat pumping technologies, and explore potential areas for future international collaboration within the IEA Heat Pumping Technologies Technology Collaboration Programme (HPT TCP) in line with the programmes strategic work plan 

The session will bring together experts from different countries to share perspectives, identify common challenges, and contribute to the development of new project ideas and strategic activities. 

The meeting will also serve as a platform to strengthen cooperation across the HPT TCP network and support continued dialogue on the role of heat pumps in efficient, resilient, and sustainable energy systems. 

Existing ideas and proposals for new international collaboration projects will be presented and discussed, in addition to discussing new ones emerging during the meeting. 

Existing ideas and proposals in the pipeline to be included in the meeting agenda: 

  • Heat Pumps in action! Operating heat pumps in multi-family residential buildings (follow-up on Project 62
  • Heat pumps for hydrogen and carbon capture) 
  • CLImate-friendly COmfort units with focus on NATural refrigerants 
  • Energetic Optimization of Multi Use Waste Energy Heat Pumps 
  • Advancing HP circularity: business potentials and technological requirements/needs/challenges (follow-up on Project 65
  • Safe Use of Refrigerants in Heat Pumping Technologies (follow-up on Project 64
