With rising youth’s claims and society’s debate on how to meet the challenge of fighting climate change and remaining in the earth resource limits, time comes to shape climate neutral cities.
#DecarbCities forum will focus on the basic need of heat and will seek to move the conversation from a supply/ sector/ centralized energy policy to a decentralized/ use/ demand planning. It will present technical and organizational solutions to cities, in particular when it comes to the replacement of existing fossil combustion technology with heating systems that use renewable energies and policies prioritizing the reduction of heat demand.
Key topics of this year’s conference include:
- National heat strategies
