Impact of electric heat pumps size in a hybrid heat pump: a simulation and experimental sensitivity study
Hybrid Heat Pumps (HHPs) are a combination of an electrical heat pump, a gas condensing boiler and a smart controller. They are considered as a decarbonization product, able to reduce significantly CO2 emissions. The size of the electric heat pump of the HHP has a big impact on the heat coverage rate supplied by the HP.
