CO2 Technology in Refrigeration, Heat Pump and Air Conditioning Systems – Workshop proceedings

One of the most promising new natural working fluids is CO2. Worldwide, interest in the use of CO2 is growing, and Norway is considered a leading country. SINTEF Energy Research organised a workshop on this topic in Trondheim, Norway on 13 and 14 May, 1997, in collaboration with the International Institute of Refrigeration and the IEA Heat Pump Centre. The 18 papers that were presented are compiled in a report entitled: "CO2 Technology in Refrigeration, Heat Pump and Air Conditioning Systems". The papers provide an in-depth understanding of CO2 as a working fluid. They highlight system studies, applications and component developments and provide a clear picture of the fast progress made and the status of CO2 technology worldwide.
