IEA HPT Project 65 is getting ready for the Chillventa Congress 2026 workshop on circularity in the residential heat pump value chain. The Chillventa Congress is an international knowledge-sharing event bringing together experts from research, industry and practice in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump technologies. It takes place on Monday 12 October 2026 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg in Germany.
The workshop will bring together participants from across the sector to discuss practical opportunities and barriers for keeping heat pump components and materials in use for longer — from reuse and refurbishment to business models, regulation and end-of-life recovery strategies.
