After the last meeting in Rapperswil on October 3, 2024 two institutions have joined the German team in Annex 61. The Institute of Thermodynamics of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF) has already joined the Workshop in the 14th IEA HP Conference in Chicago in May 2023. In the frame of the conference, a project with mine water energy supply of a district was presented, the project, which is also contributed to the Annex 61, since a positive energy balance could be proved by simulations. The investigation will also include monitoring of the district.
The “Transferzentrum Energieeffizientes Bauen” (TEB) has already collaborated in the German Team of IEA HPT Annex 49. The engineering office has different project with high performance buildings and districts, of which different case studies have been presented on the meeting in Rapperswil. The participants of Annex 61 welcome the new members of the German team in Annex 61.
