An outline of the Annex 61 has been presented, followed by a more particular state-of-the-art technology analysis of heat pump application in Positive energy districts (PED), which was compiled from data of German EnergyPlus Districts, of Swiss 2000-W-sites and of European projects under the Joint Programme Initiative on 100 PED in Europe by 2025.
Moreover, further research topics of the Annex of the development of generic heat pump solutions for district integration, monitoring of real heat pump installations of district and evaluation of Archetype PED have been presented.
The conference was the first one on the broader topic of CO2-Emissions in the Built Environment. Selected contributions will be published in a special issue of the Energy and Buildings Journal.
