It creates a focused forum for a novel and emerging branch of the broader Thermal Energy Storage (TES) field:&nbsp;<strong>TES for industrial process heat in the temperature range of 100-1000+ \u00b0C<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">Our primary objective is to build a bridge between the distinct but interconnected disciplines of&nbsp;<strong>materials research<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>system integration<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>modelling activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">The symposium\u2019s mission is to accelerate the decarbonisation of industrial heat \u2013 one of the most challenging sectors to transition from fossil fuels. We will explore how&nbsp;<strong>Power-to-heat systems<\/strong>, coupled with TES, provide a key pillar for achieving energy independence, enabling grid flexibility, and supporting the large-scale integration of intermittent renewable energy sources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">By participating in this symposium, you will have the opportunity to network with global leaders.
