Heating is political, complex, and crucial for Europe\u2019s climate goals. Although the sector is responsible for almost half of Europe\u2019s energy consumption, its necessary decarbonization is often overshadowed by dry debates. The heating transition book combines strong technological and political messages with a playful comic style \u2013 because the book is an infographic colouring book.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

In just under two years of intensive work, a communication artwork was created that deliberately breaks with conventional policy materials. Brilliant infographics, plenty of facts, figures, and data are presented across 30 thematic double-page spreads \u2013 ready to be coloured!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

The vision was to reach diverse target groups \u2013 from homeowners to politicians and NGOs \u2013 emotionally. The unexpected format appeals to our \u201cinner child\u201d and ensures that complex content like tech myths, urban district solutions, or the functionality of smart heating networks stays in mind:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

So how does that relate to Project 62? In fact some inspiration has been drawn from Project 62’s information and solution overview on heat pumps in multi-family buildings, such as the picture above. In addition, the many case studies Project 62 showcases were a source of information for the writers of the book. See for instance the Swiss Pragmatism example below, which is directly based on Project 62’s case study<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n
