Since then, the 16 apartments have been heated by two <em>Stiebel Eltron<\/em> heat pumps, both for space heating (SH) and domestic hot water (DHW). PV panels were also installed on the roof.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">However, the energy consumption of the system was higher than expected. The data was merged with the heat pumps&#8217; operating data in the <em>Green Fusion Cloud<\/em> and analysed to give a holistic picture.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">It was found that the electric heating rods, which were supposed to support the heat pump in marginal situations, were running much more often than necessary.
