The building was constructed in 1963 and had an energy label rated D for energy consumption and F for greenhouse gas emissions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \"><strong>Works on the building envelope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">The fa\u00e7ades were rebuilt and insulated from the outside and the windows were replaced. The roofs have been redone. All flats have balconies of almost 4 m\u00b2. The halls have been extended with the construction of an overhang, and the stairwells have been refurbished.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \"><strong>Works on Space Heating, DHW, and ventilation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">The collective boiler room for heating and the individual bath heaters for DHW production were eliminated in favor of an individualized solution, and a mechanical ventilation system was created in the flats using a NIBE F730 exhaust air heat pump. This heat pump provides heating and domestic hot water for the dwelling, as well as the mechanical ventilation system, to ensure good air quality for the occupants of the flats.<br>A small VMC network had to be created because the flats had natural ventilation. The radiators were replaced and fitted with thermostatic valves.<br>A current sensor has been installed on the general power supply of each flats. Controlled by the heat pump regulation system, it enables load shedding if necessary.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \"><strong>Result class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">The exhaust air heat pump NIBE F70 recycles and uses the energy wasted by the mechanical ventilation system by collecting the warm air that is evacuated to the outside by
