Since there are often several alternative decarbonization measures that can be applied, it is important to consider the overall picture and to develop a well-thought-out strategy and roadmap. Developing a decarbonization strategy is a complex process involving many factors. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">The aim of Task 3 was to create a guideline to support companies in developing their decarbonization strategy for the process heat supply. The content of the guideline is explained in more detail in the report. The following four main questions are addressed and answered in the guideline:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How to define a decarbonization goal?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How to describe the current status\/reference scenario?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How to develop and evaluate concept solutions for decarbonized systems?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How to derive the decarbonization path?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">An overview of the possible technologies was provided in the report, with a focus on HTHPs, which are a key technology for a long-term decarbonization strategy for process heating.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/heatpumpingtechnologies.org\/content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/2024\/04\/27032024guidelinefinal.pdf\">Guideline for the development of a decarbonization strategy<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/heatpumpingtechnologies.org\/content\/uploads\/sites\/70\/2024\/04\/annex58task3report.pdf\">Task 3 report<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Task 3: Applications and Transition Decarbonization has become a high priority for industrial companies.
