We have more than 60 years\u2019 experience within research and development of heat pump technology. We work within these areas:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sustainable heat pump technology based on natural working fluids<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unique expertise in CO2 technology (trans-critical processes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High temperature heat pumps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compact heat exchangers; design and optimization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compressors \/ Expanders \/ Ejectors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thermal insulation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \">We develop knowledge and technology through a good balance of theoretical considerations, numerical models, and experimental investigations. We continuously develop advanced in-house models for e.g.:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Non\u2014stationary processes and dynamic system simulation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimization and analysis of operation parameters or part load behaviour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimization of complex system layouts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detailed component models, particular focus on heat exchangers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Life cycle analysis, cost-benefit and environmental impact of heat pumping systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We maintain and evolve advanced laboratories with test facilities for:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat exchangers and compressors (0.5 \u2013 100 kW)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recovery of expansion work (Ejector \/ Expander)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>RSW (Refrigerated Sea Water)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat pump drying<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container container--no-margin\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph \"><strong>Typical projects for us
