In this presentation, Jahanzeb Tariq from Viessmann explains how the CE-RISE project addresses circular economy aspects in the domestic heat pump sector. Key topics include a full evaluation of the lifecycle of Viessmann heat pumps, challenges along the supply chain, and the importance of digital tools such as digital product passports and blockchain technology for enabling circularity. The presentation also explores strategies to reduce both operational and embodied carbon, using practical examples from Viessmann’s experience.
