However, this shift brings new acoustic challenges that demand innovative solutions. Your expertise in this field would be invaluable to our session, which aims to address these critical issues and shape the future of residential acoustics. Our session will explore a comprehensive range of topics, including:

  1. Airborne sound characterisation of heat pumps
  2. Structure-borne heat pump noise transmission in buildings
  3. Psychoacoustic and soundscape approaches to heat pump noise assessment
  4. Predictive tools for heat pump noise propagation
  5. Best practices in heat pump planning and installation
  6. Real-world case studies highlighting both successes and challenges
