3rd working meeting at Energie Campus Nürnberg
The third working meeting has been held at Energy Campus Nürnberg of TH Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm on October 23-24, 2017
The topic of the meeting were the presentation of interim and final results of Task 1 state-of-the-art analysis and a discussion of the conclusion of the Task 1. Moreover, the preparation of the upcoming Task 2 – 4 have been accomplished.
Task 2 on the system integration will be performed mainly by simulations. However, simulations are partly linked to buildings, which are also monitoring within the Annex 49, so a comparison of simulation and monitoring results can be evaluated, which indicates optimisation potencials for the real operation.
Task 3 is dedicated to the monitoring of real-world nZEB with heat pump in operation or to prototype developments evaluated in test cells or on test rig. Several monitorings have already started, e.g. different no residential high performance applications in Norway or monitoring of residential applications in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Task 4 is dedicated to design and control and has a close link to Task 2 regarding the design and control of integrated heat pumps nZEB. First results of control for demand response in a group of 8 buildings of the project HerzoBase have been presented by TH Nürnberg. The buildings will also be monitored.
An information exchange of results of HPT Annex 50 and EBC Annex 67 has also been presented.
On the second day a common definition for nZEB to be considered in the Annex was discussed based on the results of the state-of-the-art in the participating countries. It was agreed, that an ambitious approach shall be followed in the Annex 49.
