{"id":106,"date":"2016-08-30T14:31:59","date_gmt":"2016-08-30T14:31:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/heatpumpingtechnologies.org\/annex51\/?page_id=106"},"modified":"2017-09-28T10:25:59","modified_gmt":"2017-09-28T10:25:59","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/heatpumpingtechnologies.org\/annex42\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container container--no-margin classic-editor\"><strong>Start date:\u00a0<\/strong>May 2013<\/p>\n<p><strong>End date:\u00a0<\/strong>January 2017<\/p>\n<h3>Objectives<\/h3>\n<p>The objective of the Annex\u00a0was to reduce the use of energy and emissions of greenhouse gases by the increased implementation of heat pumps in smart grids, by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generating information for policy makers<\/li>\n<li>Developing information for stake holders in the heat pump industry and its supply and consulting chain and for policy makers<\/li>\n<li>Getting insight in decision making processes related to heat pumps<\/li>\n<li>Increasing the knowledge and information about heat pumps, data and getting existing information available<\/li>\n<li>Applying new technologies and identifying the needs for technological development<\/li>\n<li>Creating a network of experts<\/li>\n<li>Finding synergy with renewable energy production to increase flexibility of the grid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Project manager and participating countries<\/h3>\n<p>Austria, France, Germany, the Netherlands (operating agent), South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.<\/p>\n<h3>Activities<\/h3>\n<p>The Annex\u00a0was structured into the following tasks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Task 1. Market overview, barriers for application<\/li>\n<li>Task 2. Modeling calculation and economic models<\/li>\n<li>Task 3. Technology<\/li>\n<li>Task 4. Application and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Task 5.
